To join the Dow Jones Legal Department for the Dutch market, we are seeking an experienced full-time
Legal Counsel
with an interest in regulatory compliance and commercial contracting
with an interest in regulatory compliance and commercial contracting
As a legal counsel your responsibilities include both regulatory compliance and commercial contract matters. You will ensure compliance with associated regulations (globally) pertaining to benchmarks, monitor relevant regulatory developments but also review and negotiate a variety of contracts.
In this role you will work closely with your legal colleagues globally and business colleagues and you will be in contact with external regulators such as the AFM.
Profile
- around 3 – 10 years of relevant work experience
- gained at an internationally oriented law firm and/or in an in-house position
- experience engaging directly with commodities regulators is preferred
- excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with an eye for detail
- fluent in English, Dutch is considered a plus
